Jim Ethridge has been in construction since 1962, when he got his start with Dan Covert Construction. When Danny Covert retired from the construction business, Jim had an opportunity to start his own construction company.

April 1, 1984, marks the start of D & E Construction Co Inc. The company operated as a family-owned business with father and son Jim and Dane Ethridge until 2021 when Dane became the sole owner. The strong relationships Jim and Dane developed over the decades with engineers, contractors and business owners, coupled with a strong work ethic and excellent results, D & E Construction Co continue to build some of the most recognized buildings in the Greater Meridian area.
